More exciting was hearing the heartbeat of our little child. The midwife warned us that it might take a little bit to locate it, but as soon as she placed the doppler on Eileen -- a quick, little, bunny-like heartbeat emerged, thumping away at a healthy 160 beats per minute.It is amazing to realize that a little child is growing in there. We are reminded of Psalm 139:13-14, “For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.” What a great gift God has given us.

Now that's exciting! Also glad to hear that the trip to Maine was not too much for the mom to be. Probably the Mainers coming to PA was much more stressful :)
I finally was able to hear the amazing heartbeat of Baby Bickford. It sounded very cute and adorable. Looking forward to being an aunt.
